Dental porcelain veneers or dental porcelain
laminates, are wafer-thin shells of porcelain
which are bonded onto the front side of teeth
for cosmetic improvement in teeth appearance.
Porcelain veneers allow dramatic changes to
the length, width, color and shape of a tooth
used to idealize teeth that are discolored,
irregular shaped, worn, chipped, or misaligned.
Veneers can achieve teeth uniformity esthetically
and within a relatively short period of treatment
time and are also resist staining, creating
an enduring white bright straight smile. After
being bonded to the front of teeth, porcelain
veneers are relatively easy to maintain with
regular brushing and flossing.

Composite resin fillings or tooth colored fillings
are dental restorations that are used to restore
teeth that have small cavities. Many individuals
now choose to replace their old amalgam silver
fillings with new esthetic fillings that match
the color of their tooth.
Unlike inlays and onlays that are crafted in
an outside lab, composite fillings can be made
on-site and completed in only one office visit.
The dentist will numb the area, then prepare
the tooth for restoration, removing any decay.
He or she will then apply the composite, and
fill the cavity. After the composite has been
cured, it will be smoothed and shaped for fit
and comfort.
